The currency exchange rate is about 7.07 yuan per US Dollar. US Dollar is just an example for a convenient reference. Most foreign currencies can be converted to RMB in Beijing.
Campus Living
The school provides furnished dorms for 2 persons for about RMB 750 (yuan) (about $106 US Dollars) per month. There is a deposit of RMB 2000 (yuan) ($282 US Dollars ) at the time of moving in the dorm. The deposit will be returned in full if there is no damage at the time of moving out.
In each dormitory suite, there is one bedroom with two single beds, hosting two students. There is a washroom with shower in the dorm suite. The dorm room does not have a kitchen.
Amenities
A/C, heating and other utilities are installed. Television and desks are equipped.
High speed internet is provided. Please bring your own Ethernet cable to connect to a socket in the wall. If you have a wireless router, you can create a private wifi.
Laundry
Bedding (linens, quilts, pillows, blankets) and towels are provided. There is a one time non-refundable move-in fee of RMB 800 (yuan) (about $113 US Dollars ) to cover the cost for new bedding. Our school staff manage to exchange and clean the linens, towels and other washables every week. Students can use the school's washing machine for laundry of own clothes.

Insurance
You are advised to purchase an insurance plan from an insurance company at your home country.
Dining
The dining at school cafeteria costs about RMB 8 (yuan) per meal ($1.13 US Dollars).
